Program Overview
- The scientific program is now available here.
- The program will begin with 3 topical workshops on the morning of Thursday, Oct. 27.
- The Gender Minorities in Science Social (GEMSS) sponsored by the LSU College of Science and CENTAUR will be held on Thursday, Oct. 27 from 1-3pm.
- A plenary session will be held on the afternoon of Thursday, Oct. 27, to be followed by a welcome reception.
- Invited sessions, contributed sessions, and minisymposia will be held all day Friday and Saturday, and on Sunday morning.
- The program committee met in April and put together an excellent program of invited sessions and minisymposia.
- There will be a CEU poster session on Friday, Oct. 28.
- There will be a special dinner/event for graduate students on Friday evening.
- The banquet with traditional New Orleans dishes and live entertainment will be held on Saturday night, Oct. 29.
- Abstracts are welcomed on a wide variety of nuclear science topics including
- Hadronic reactions and structure
- Rare isotopes
- Nuclear astrophysics
- Nuclear reactions and structure
- Fundamental symmetries and neutrinos
- Heavy Ion Physics
- Instrumentation
- Applications
- The conference adjourns at noon on Sunday, Oct. 30, 2022.
