This X-ray transient was discovered in October 1999 and is still in outburst (as of March 2000). Its system parameters are largely unknown, making this picture very speculative. It is likely a short period (5-10 hours) binary with a black hole primary and an extreme mass ratio. The orbital inclination is not known, but it is probably not eclipsing.
