AGENDA

Information Technology Celebration
Presented by LSU CAPITAL
Wednesday, September 25, 2002

8:30 - 10 a.m. Open house tour for visitors
Please take this opportunity to visit all three of the new information technology facilities that have been established at LSU over the past year through LSU CAPITAL's activities. Driving between the three sites will be impractical, however, because classes will be in session and no visitor parking will be available at any one of the three sites. If you are not an LSU student or employee, please park at the Lod Cook Alumni Center where you may board a shuttle bus that will transport you between the three "celebration locations." Shuttle buses will depart from the Alumni Center at 8:30 a.m.
10 a.m. Celebration ceremony begins
A brief "ribbon cutting" ceremony will be held at each one of the three celebration locations, in sequence. Please do not try to attend all three of these ceremonies; instead, please select one location (the choice is up to you!) at which to participate in our celebration. LSU's new internet-based video-conferencing capabilities will permit you to watch and, indeed, participate remotely in the ceremonies that will be held at the other two sites.

As host of this I.T. Celebration, Chancellor Emmert will travel between the sites to attend, in person, all three "ribbon cutting" ceremonies in the sequence listed on the accompanying celebration locations page. Governor Foster has been invited to join the Chancellor on this tour.

11:30 a.m. Lunch at Lod Cook Alumni Center, Nolan Laborde Hall
[By invitation only.]

Shuttle buses will be available to transport invited guests from all three of the celebration locations back to the Lod Cook Alumni Center (and Conference Center Hotel) for lunch.
