During the first few weeks of the semester, we will rely heavily upon the first two textbooks listed in the following table. Hence, it is recommended that you go ahead and purchase both of these books at the very beginning of the semester (before the first day of class, if you like). You may want to delay purchasing the 2nd and third books on this list until we have had a chance to discuss the course objectives in class.
