Postdoctoral Researcher
Experimental Condensed Matter

An experimental condensed matter postdoctoral position is available in the Department of Physics and Astronomy as early as spring 2008.  Current areas of research in the department include low dimensional superconductivity, exploratory inter-metallic synthesis, and electronic properties of thin-film correlated insulators. A strong background in low temperature techniques and transport measurements is essential. A Ph.D. or equivalent degree in physics or a related field is required. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Applications will be accepted until January 31, 2008, or until a candidate is selected.
