Nominations and applications are invited for the first of these hires, an Associate or Full Professor or an outstanding junior level experimental neutrino physicist who will be expected to build a
competitive research program. Current particle physics related programs are focused on accelerator based neutrino oscillation physics (T2K, MiniBooNE), solar neutrino studies (SNO), and astro-particle physics (Auger, satellite and balloon experiments).

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. or equivalent degree in Physics or a related field; proven research record with established and/or prospect of support.

Responsibilities: complements and enhances ties to the department’s programs in neutrino physics, astro-particle physics, and nuclear physics; teaches at the undergraduate/graduate levels; mentors students through to the Ph.D. degree.
